What I love most about design is helping people see their vision more clearly than they ever have before. Through questions, conversation, and exploration, I uncover what truly matters to you—then bring it to life through thoughtful design touches that feel both personal and elevated all at once.
With over twenty years in design, creative direction, and branding, I naturally found my way into interiors—the place where all my passions intersect. In my earlier work leading large creative projects and shaping branded environments for Fortune 500 clients, I developed a deep love for storytelling, mood, and emotional connection. That foundation ultimately led to the creation of HI LO Interiors.
HI LO reflects my instinctive approach to space: layered, eclectic, collected, and rooted in the interplay of contrasts—high and low, new and old, varying eras and styles. My interiors live in that balance—that blend of polish and patina—where refinement meets real life. I blend high and low, old and new, modern polish and island soul to create spaces that feel deeply personal, warm, and cozy. Clients often describe my work as places that feel both like a memory and a promise of what’s ahead.
Travel, style, and my Hawaiʻi upbringing influence my use of color, materials, and texture, giving each project a sense of depth and soul. The name HI LO—pronounced HIGH LOW—speaks to my design philosophy but also carries something more personal: a nod to Hilo, Hawaiʻi, my first home. Now living on Maui with my husband and son, I continue to bring that spirit of place, resourcefulness, and connection into every home I design.
A lifelong thrifter and collector, I believe great interiors are built from the things people love, gathered over time—and I’m dedicated to creating spaces that feel honest, inviting, and lived-in from day one.

We start by talking story — getting to know you, your home, and the dreams you have for it. I take time to understand its setting, history, and character, defining what’s working, what’s not, and what could be. Together, we outline thoughtful, realistic ways to bring those dreams to life — always grounded, achievable, and full of heart.
Design
Through sketches, materials, and mockups, we explore ideas that bring your vision into focus. I present concepts that balance needs, wants, dreams, and constraints — a mix of intuition and practicality. From there, we refine and evolve until the design feels both intentional and pull togethered.
Phase Three
DEVELOP
With a direction set, I translate ideas into detailed plans — collaborating with you, the contractor, and local craftspeople to align design intent with scope and budget. We pull together every practical thread — timelines, materials, and trades — so the end result feels cohesive, considered, and achievable.
ExECUTE
This is where everything comes to life — furnishings, light, color, pattern, and texture finding their place. Together, we style your home so it feels personal and lived-in, with that blend of polish and patina — a space that feels like both a memory and a future all at once.
